Should I start some creative content?

I remember a time I used to be an enthusiast for creative stuff. Used to enjoy doing edits on Photoshop and Illustrator cuz I was bored. Always made things, but never preserved them. Would take a few looks at them and then delete them. Honestly I could say the same about the plethora of software projects I’ve done over the years. Projects I would make for fun and refuse to publish on github cuz someone else did it better. Insecure in the space. Since about 1 year into my career I did establish that making a profession out of my then fondest hobby of coding has spectacularly backfired on me now.

Back to topic now. Yeah, so how about I try to get back into creative stuff and this time publish even the most obscure works I’ve created? The only thing I seem to enjoy these days are obviously playing video games and watching YouTube video essays… And yeah I did enjoy writing essays in the past before GenAI was a thing. (Oh yeah I could go on a rant about GenAI forcing me to change the way I write my essays. I hate everyone that used these stupid AI detectors.)

Perhaps I could heal that wound and just write articles in some platform. Maybe even make a video and post it on YouTube myself. It’s high time I get another hobby I truly enjoy, and keep it as a hobby.
